This year I had one of the best weddings that as a wedding photographer Mallorca I have been able to enjoy. It is a couple of guys named Pedro and Manu. A few months ago Pedro contacted me because he wanted to organize a surprise wedding proposal for his great love and he needed a photographer. He wanted to do it in a way that it would be like a normal couple’s photo session so that his partner would not be suspicious. In between we would suddenly do the proposal without Manu expecting anything, it would be a big surprise. For me it was a beautiful idea and I connected with Pedro right away knowing exactly what he wanted. From the first minute we talked we were both very excited and looking forward to it.

Everything went perfectly and it was very exciting, we ended up crying with happiness, and toasting. And of course now we had to organize the wedding itself. As we had connected both professionally and personally they wanted me to be their wedding photographer Mallorca. That made me very happy and we started to coordinate dates and everything that was going to happen on that big day.
They had planned to do first the civil ceremony one morning. It was going to be in a very special and beautiful place like the Mirador de Deia. As guests were only going to be their closest family as it was going to be very intimate. It was celebrated by the councilor of the Town Hall between mountains and the sea in the background. That beautiful sunny day we enjoyed it a lot because they love each other very much and it was very familiar and with a lot of feeling. Little Noa was present being a great protagonist of how much her parents love each other. They were finally legally married.

And that was not all, of course. In addition, they wanted the day of the celebration to be a big party and to enjoy it to the fullest with all their friends and family. They had chosen the Bahía Mediterráneo Restaurant on the Paseo Marítimo in Palma as the venue. We went to see it a few days before, it is an elegant place with a lot of class just like they are. There was going to be a very passion colored decoration, with red roses on the tables and red lights. The show they had in mind was better than any other. It was organized by Alvaro Anaya who with the group Pura Raza was going to make a big impression.
When the big day arrived, we first went to make arrangements for the two of them together at the Victoria Gran Melia Hotel. They had taken a beautiful suite with a jacuzzi in the bathroom which I definitely wanted to use. As a wedding photographer Mallorca I like to do different and creative things.

For each couple I do something special depending on how they are and the location. And for Manu and Pedro I had everything specially prepared since they are very handsome and have a lot of charisma. We had a great time and I tried at the same time to take away their normal nerves about what was going to happen. I even put them on the luggage cart at the hotel. They were so excited to share their love with everyone.

They were going to wear custom-made tuxedos with a white jacket and very elegant black pants from the brand Bund de Madrid. They looked stunning, they looked like models out of an ad, what a couple!

When we finished all the preparations we went to the Bahia Mediterraneo running as they were going to make a super entrance. First their parents together and then the two of them with their mothers on their arms. The mothers were dressed in white as brides, you can tell where they get their beauty from. They are two spectacular and elegant women inside and out. Without a doubt it was going to be a fantastic celebration.
All the guests had already arrived and the bride and groom were ready to make their entrance with the wedding march in the background. The most surprising thing was that they entered with their mothers dressed in white, with spectacular custom-made suits. Alvaro Anaya was in charge of the music.
Everyone applauding them, giving them hugs, congratulating them… Thousands of moments to capture in front of me. The two of them were over the moon greeting all their friends and family, lots of love and joy everywhere.

Between hugs and toasts the show began, the Umbada Tribu group of dancers started everything with a striptease that was spectacular with music and dance. Then they did a show with music and fire. We were all with our mouths open, not knowing where to look.
Between laughter, surprises and looks of amazement, the show became an unforgettable experience. In the end, it was not only a dance and fire show, but a celebration of life, joy and connection between all of us.
There was a moment when things calmed down so that both could say a few words. Manu began with some precious words dedicated to his family, his mother and Pedro in particular. Then Pedro did the same and between the two of them they made us fall in love even more with all the feeling they transmitted. They made us laugh and moved us, melting at the end in hugs with their families and with each other. What a beautiful couple in love.

Between one thing and another I took the opportunity to go with them to take a series of photos at the bar and on the sofas. It was not necessary to tell them almost nothing, they look at each other with so much love that everything I had prepared for them came out perfect. Besides, the Bahia Mediterraneo is a great place with its decor as a backdrop for this elegant couple.
We sat down for dinner and as soon as we finished the flamenco show began. Inma Crespo and her group with guitars, cajón and dancers. All full of candles, carnations, roses and joy…..The magic and the duende of flamenco invaded the whole room and all of us who were there.
The two grooms are big fans of flamenco with roots in the south and it was enough to hear a little to start. Many guests got up to give their all in the tablao and joined them. Between palmas and bulerias the big flamenco party was on.
Immediately Manu’s sister and her girlfriend got up and started dancing and singing, adding a lot of art to the celebration. The grooms got up to dance with their mothers, with the guests, the red roses and petals were flying. It was all a big party to celebrate love.
And then it was time for the cake, it looked like a sculpture. Of course from La Oca Margarita who makes art in pastry, she leaves no one indifferent with her work.

The flamenco party continued and we went to the discotheque where there was another surprise prepared. With the dj set of Pura Raza the dancer Veronica Luque, Verushka, came as if it was a paso de Semana Santa. Wrapped in a mantilla and incense. She started dancing to the music and it was magical, with the lights behind her wrapping around her. Manu and Pedro danced and were joined by everyone who had happily witnessed this beautiful wedding.
I want to thank the couple as a wedding photographer Mallorca for their confidence in my creativity and my work. They are two very special people who have found each other and love one another passionately.

In this wedding so well planned with so much illusion there has been everything from minute one. A lot of nerves that make your stomach cringe but in a cool way, huge expectations because it had to be amazing and it was. Excitement to see everyone’s eyes full of joy, explosions of endless adrenaline.
Things kept happening, dancing and singing, art, a lot of art, laughter, hugs and nice words. Also memories and mentions to people who see everything and smile from above happy and very happy… Moments where you say, olé and olé, so many people giving love and being happy.
