Wedisson Awards
First of all, Wedisson Awards is an international wedding photography contest. The results are published on their website http://wedisson.com/ and in Instagram. Wedding photographer award Mallorca.
I had been thinking about participating with some of my photos for a while and two month ago someone convinced me to finally do it. It was a pleasant surprise when I received a message telling me that my photo had been awarded. It was going to appear on their page as one of the winners. I was the only Spanish photographer awarded.
Consequently, I sent in Noelia’s picture, one of the last brides I had the pleasure of working with. She and Alex were married on September 30,2017.
For the occasion, they chose the same church in which their parents had married 40 years earlier in Mallorca. I really enjoyed capturing unforgettable moments at that wedding. One of them is the one reflected in the photo I sent.
I don’t remember exactly how many women were in the room as she prepared, but there were many. That I’m sure of.
They say that in any event it is almost as much fun and exciting before as while it goes on. I can confirm that this was the case here. The bride, instead of being nervous, was exhilarated with happiness. That time was very easy to get fantastic photos because they never stopped smiling.
As a result, for me, it has been a great personal satisfaction to see my photo on this page. Finally, It is a recognition of many years of effort to improve. I enjoy my job a lot, but obviously, who doesn’t like to be told that he’s doing it right? Appearing here, alongside other international photographers whom I admire, is something that motivates me to keep getting better and better.
