This wedding is one of those in which I say that the couple loves each other madly. From the first day I met them to get to know each other I could see that they look with great tenderness and love. They are Angelina and Mario and I was lucky enough to be their wedding photographer at Finca Morneta.

This wedding came to me thanks to wedding planner Blanca from Nicober bodas y eventos. Last year we already did together a very nice German wedding in Mallorca.

Angelina and Mario chose the wonderful Finca Morneta as their wedding venue. I have had the opportunity to do a wedding there before and also some editorial. Always I love how Lucia and her husband have restored it preserving all the history in an impeccable way. Everything breathes elegance and good taste.

Angelina is a doctor and Venezuelan, a combination that makes her extraordinarily charming. I believe that in her profession you have to have a vocation and a lot of people skills. So she always has a smile on her face and even more so when Mario is by her side. He is Argentinean and physically looks like Messi’s older and handsome brother. Mario has a special sweetness and kindness, they make a great couple.

And without further ado, the big day we were all waiting for arrived. As a wedding photographer at Finca Morneta I always like to arrive early on the wedding day. On this occasion I was going to meet again with Ania who now works as a coordinator for Finca Morneta. She is actually a musician like me and we met thanks to concerts we have had together. Ania has also been working for many years running a catering company here in Mallorca. Now Lucia has signed her and she couldn’t have been more right. I was very happy to see her.

As catering for this wedding we had El Jardin de Maca de Castro, always amazing. For the music I had Oscar from Lights and events. Love working with him so we were a good team. I was looking forward to start this great day as a wedding photographer at Finca Morneta.

I greeted Blanca from Nicober who was already putting the final touches to the ceremony area, it is always a great pleasure to see her. Then I went to greet the bride who was finishing her hair and makeup. She was radiant and looking forward to the ceremony. Her beautiful dress was hanging on the bed, I told her that first I would go with Mario and then I would come for her.

Mario was walking around making sure that everything was perfect, accompanied by some family members. We kissed twice, he was a little nervous but mostly excited. He went upstairs to put on part of his suit in his room and we met in the main living room of the house. I love this space because it has a lot of style and a great light that comes through the windows. All the furniture and antique pieces hanging on the walls are history and there are no better witnesses for so many emotions.

Mario slowly began to put on the elegant suit he had chosen. He looked like a model, I didn’t have to tell him much to make him look good in all the pictures. Besides, he has a lot of charisma as a good Argentinian. As a wedding photographer at Finca Morneta I really liked this groom. I told him to hide and don’t even think about coming out and seeing the bride.

We went later with Angelina who was ready. Made her go without anyone seeing her to the same area in the main house. She had already put on her dress, all that was left was to fasten the back and put on the veil. Her bridesmaids helped at all times, they were very much in their role. Angelina was beaming and watching through the window as the guests were slowly entering the front door of the estate.

They helped her finish dressing and put her shoes on, then we went to the room downstairs. This little window where a little light comes in is wonderful to create an incredible atmosphere. Everything was ready to go to the ceremony and start everything.

First Mario and his mother entered, then the children and Angelina’s mother. She appeared through the door on her father’s arm and Mario got a smile of emotion. Finally together at the altar the ceremony began, which was quite fast to what we are used to. They put on their rings, said “I do” and left happily with a shower of petals.

We went inside to take some couple photos while the guests moved to the cocktail area. They were already happy to be together after the whole morning apart. There was a very romantic and beautiful light coming through the windows and I took advantage of every corner of the rooms.

Since I don’t like to keep the couples apart for too long and I want them to enjoy the cocktail, I finished quickly. They made their entrance and received hugs and congratulations from all the guests. El Jardin Catering started to bring out trays of appetizers that everyone enjoyed.

When the banquet arrived the couple made a grand entrance with a cold fire at the entrance of the tent. They circled around the tables with people up with happy napkins. Everyone sat down to taste the great food prepared by El Jardin catering.

At one point Angelina got ready to throw the bouquet and the bachelorettes gathered for the momentous occasion. It is always a lot of fun and everyone has a great time. The cake also came out and they did the first dance. All the wedding was going perfectly and the bride and groom were very happy.

Just at 00.00 hours everyone went to the disco area where Oscar made them dance to the fullest. After a fun time taking pictures we said goodbye to the couple wishing them all the happiness in the world and looking forward to seeing them again. I had really enjoyed being a wedding photographer at Finca Morneta.
