Wedding on the Amalfi Coast.
This year I had another gift of life as a destination wedding photographer. I was able to return once again to Italy to shoot a wedding on the Amalfi Coast. Without a doubt Italy is an amazing country that I love. Both its culture, gastronomy and people make me fall in love every time I go there. This time I was found by a couple from Florida, USA and they wanted me to be their wedding photographer on the Amalfi Coast.

When they called me I was very excited because they were very clear that they loved my style and they wanted me. They are Juliana and Michael, an incredible couple that I was delighted to meet. From the first moment they transmitted me their great illusion. For them the most important thing was to have all those moments full of emotion in their wedding on the Amalfi Coast.
Once again I had the good fortune to work with Ines and Adriano from Mr and Mrs wedding in Italy. Without a doubt the best wedding planners on the Amalfi Coast with whom it is always a pleasure to coincide. They do everything in such a professional way that you know that the wedding will be perfect. They are also lovely people and I am very happy whenever I see them.

Photographer wedding in Amalfi
The previous time we worked together was on a wedding at the NH Collection Gran Hotel Convento di Amalfi. It was amazing, a dream wedding of a very special couple. I love coming and being a luxury wedding photographer on the Amalfi Coast.
Mostly it is foreigners who come to get married in wonderful villas and hotels on the Coast. Amalfi as well as Positano or Ravello have magical places to do it.
The wedding was going to be in June so I left a couple of days before to prepare everything well. As a wedding photographer in Amalfi I like to have everything under control. Arrive early, see all the locations and of course say hello to the couple.

This wedding on the Amalfi Coast was going to be in a village near Amalfi called Scala. As we are already in summer the whole coast is full of people who want to discover and enjoy it. We arrived in Naples by plane and from there we went to Salerno. We took a boat to Amalfi which is beautiful because you enjoy the whole coastline. As a wedding photographer in Mallorca as well I was happy to be here.
When you arrive on the Amalfi Coast what strikes you most are the great mountains that rise to incredible heights. The villages are located down on the coast and the little houses rise all along the slopes upwards. It is really beautiful to arrive by boat and see it from that point. Then in Amalfi awaits all the hassle that is such a touristy place in high season. You have to be very clear on how to get from one place to another either by bus, cab etc.

To go to Scala this wedding venue on the Amalfi Coast is about 15 minutes. Once we arrived at the hotel and dropped everything off we were able to enjoy a stroll in the village. It is very close to Ravello as it is the town you can see in front of it. What is most striking is the great variety of trees and vegetation. All along the coast there are lemon trees, jasmines and vines located on top of sticks. There is a very special smell of fresh, clean air with aromas coming from all this greenery. The churches with their chimes make it all even more magical, I love Italy being a phoographer in Mallorca.
Luxury wedding villas in Ravello
We took the opportunity to visit luxury wedding villas in Ravello. As a photographer on the Amalfi Coast I always like to discover new places. We entered the amazing Villa Cimbrone a five star hotel in Ravello. Its gardens are so beautiful they look like paradise on earth. So well kept and spectacular they have one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the world. It has an infinity view that mesmerizes you. The most incredible luxury weddings in Italy have taken place here. Also fashion shows and many movies have been filmed here. Villa Cimbrone is undoubtedly for me as a wedding photographer in Ravello a unique place.

Another luxury wedding villa on the Amalfi Coast that I visited was Villa La Rondinaia. It formerly belonged to Villa Cimbrone as they are almost next to each other. At one point in their history they were separated into two. It is such an exclusive luxury wedding villa in Ravello that it is not easy to find where it is. We were lucky enough that one of the owners let us visit it and we were able to take a tour of the whole area, without a doubt this whole area is a paradise for wedding planners in Italy for luxury weddings. I as a wedding photographer in Ravello am delighted to come.

The next day we had arranged to meet Juliana and Michael at the hotel. They were staying at the Palazzo Pascal an incredibly beautiful renovated five star residence. We greeted them with a big hug, happy to see each other in person at last. Juliana was spectacular and radiant and eager to show us around. We also greeted with a hug Adriano the wedding planner of Mr and Mrs wedding in Italy. They were finalizing the last details for the big day. They showed us the hotel and all the locations, without a doubt the Palazzo Pascal is beautiful.

Juliana and Michael introduced us to their family and friends, it was going to be an intimate wedding with only 24 people. Definitely a great number for a wedding on the Amalfi Coast. All happy and smiling we headed to see the Basilica where the ceremony was to take place. After walking down many steps we arrived at the Basilica Sant’Eustachio. It is in ruins and undoubtedly has a spectacular charm with dreamy views of the Amalfi coast. We said goodbye until the next day to everyone I was looking forward to as a wedding photographer on the Amalfi coast.

I woke up to the chimes of the village church, it was a beautiful sunny morning. As soon as I got ready I went down to Palazzo Pascal where Michael and his friends were already waiting for me. They were all dressed up and ready to go. Michael had chosen a beij linen suit and a white shirt very appropriate for the place. We spent a good time with them taking pictures while having a drink and laughing. Michael is very charming and you can tell he has very good friends with whom he was going to share this day.

From there we went to the bride’s room. As usual, all her friends and her mother were busy doing things. Helping to iron the dress, picking up the room. Juliana was getting the final touches on her hairstyle. Once she was ready we had a fun photo moment with her. On the bed with a cigar and a whiskey she wanted to enjoy every moment to the fullest.
For this wedding we were going to have as partners in the video Palmer and Alonso who we already knew. No doubt there was a great team of professionals for this wedding on the Amalfi Coast.

We went down to the gardens because the bride wanted to have a first look with her father. It was going to be very exciting for him to see her dressed as a bride. His back was turned and he turned around when she came. They melted into a very nice hug, definitely a very special moment for both of them.
From there we headed to the Basilica to wait for the ceremony to begin.

The guests came down all the steps and we were able to meet her grandparents. They had come all the way from the States and were going to take advantage and then go to Rome and more places, they were very sweet. Everyone took their seats and Michael made his entrance with his mother. There was a string duo that would play throughout the ceremony.

He prepared at the altar for the bride to arrive. Juliana made her entrance on her father’s arm visibly moved. As a photographer on the Amalfi Coast, this is one of my favorite moments. It was very nice when the two of them found themselves finally so handsome and elegant in this magical place. No doubt this wedding on the Amalfi Coast was being spectacular.
The officiant was a friend of theirs invited to the wedding who said very nice words about them. They said vows to each other that touched us all. They look at each other with so much love and they make a perfect couple, you can tell how much they love each other. At the end they exchanged rings and said I do. They left with the guests throwing petals and confetti at them, happy and with a big smile on their faces.

We took the opportunity to take some couple pictures on the way to Palazzo Pascal. Little by little all the guests arrived at the hotel, for the grandparents it was difficult but they made it. The couple made their entrance to the cocktail that was going to be in the pool area, it was very nice decorated with white flowers.

They all moved on to the banquet in the gardens below, with breathtaking views and garlands of lights above the tables. Without a doubt this location is perfect for weddings on the Amalfi Coast.
There were several speeches and they enjoyed the dinner. There was a moment when I took the opportunity to take pictures of the bride and groom with a chandelier and cigars. For her the cigars were special as their aroma is a childhood memory of her father and grandfather.
After dessert the bride went to change her dress for the party and when she returned the guests were in a covered area. It had started to rain a little and the party was upstairs. Everyone was very happy and in the mood to dance. Juliana came in, she looked spectacular in her dress and cut the cake with Michael.

Then the first dance for which they had a choreography prepared and then all the guests joined in. The dj was Pio Mansi with whom we already met at the other wedding on the Amalfi Coast. We like him very much, he is charming and amazing, he makes everyone dance and knows perfectly what to play at every moment.
All the guests were dancing and having a great time, I took the opportunity to say goodbye to the couple. It had been an incredible day, one of the weddings I have enjoyed the most. We gave a big hug to Juliana and Michael thanking them for their trust and for everything. Both have amazing parents and friends. They had let me use my creativity and they have spectacular pictures. I hope to return very soon to the magical Italy as a wedding photographer on the Amalfi Coast.
