I have a passion for this couple that I present to you today. Their names are Mar and Javi, I’ve known them for a few years. They chose me to be their photographer in Mallorca for their wedding at Finca Comassema. It was an amazing wedding where we had a great time and since then we have become close friends. Now they have become pregnant and wanted me to do this pregnancy photography in Mallorca. Which has filled me with happiness of course.

They have wanted to be parents for a long time and finally when they gave me the news it was amazing. I am so happy for them and I know they are going to be great parents because they are both great people. Right away we talked about taking some pictures so they would always remember them. We finally decided on a date and I told them a place on the island that I love and has a beautiful sunset.

I arrived a little early and was looking forward to seeing them again and they were bringing Mel, their dog. I have known her since she was a puppy and I was going with Noah mine and I was sure they were going to get along well. They showed up with several bags full of clothes to change and so on. We gave each other kisses and hugs and set off to do the pregnancy photography in Mallorca.

It was a nice afternoon and those who had spent the whole day on the beach were leaving little by little. In the area where we were going there was no one and it was perfect to start. Their dog Mel and Noah were running around from time to time playing and getting along very well as we expected.

We started to see what clothes they were wearing and we decided to do it with jeans for both of them. The truth is that even though they are not used to having their pictures taken as there is a lot of trust it was easy. We were all completely relaxed and Mar looked especially beautiful.

She was moving around as if she had been doing pregnancy photography in Mallorca all her life. Apart from the fact that she is pregnant I wanted to take pictures of her as the beautiful and confident woman she is. She has a lot of personality and I wanted to reflect that as well. A woman can be pregnant, feel and look beautiful at the same time, Mar is the perfect example.

Pregnancy photo session in Mallorca

For those who have never been in front of a camera before it is not easy, but between jokes and laughter everything flowed. It was a very good opportunity to take pictures. I have many people from all over the world who come to Mallorca and take the opportunity to have their pregnancy photos taken. Recently I also had a couple that I married last year. She got pregnant and wanted me to do a pregnancy session in the studio at home. I love this kind of thing because I know that they trust me and my work for something so special.

Just recently I also had two very nice sessions of the same couple. Years ago I did a couple photo session for an American professional basketball player and his then girlfriend. After a few years she got pregnant and wanted me to be her pregnancy photographer in Mallorca. We had a very nice photo session in a beautiful cove in the evening at sunset.

After a few weeks she was going to give birth and was planning to do it at home in a special bathtub, etc. When the time came they had a beautiful baby boy named Arrow. After a few weeks they called me because they wanted me to take pictures of the three of them before he got too big. So we had a very nice session in their new home. They have all three sessions in periods of their life and will have some very nice memories thanks to my photos. This kind of thing I love about being a photographer in Mallorca.

Now I was with one of my favorite couples taking pictures that they will have for the rest of their lives. When Lluc is born, that’s the baby’s name, she will see the pictures and she will love to have them. Besides, even Mel was posing, it was amazing how she was at the right moment to be in the picture.

Little by little the sun was setting and we changed costumes and moved from one place to another. There is like a natural lake formed by rocks that have a very nice reflection. There when the sun is down it is perfect for the light and color on summer afternoons. The three of them were happy doing what I told them to do and it was turning out to be a great pregnancy photography session in Mallorca.

Almost at the end they both got into the water playing with their arms and looking at the sun as it was setting. We all made a wish living this magical moment that here on the island is very special. They got out and changed and we went to dinner to celebrate this beautiful evening and the arrival of Lluc very soon. Surely it will be a very special moment in our lives and someday we will tell you about this evening by looking at the photos. I thank Mar and Javi, they are going to be amazing parents and I am looking forward to seeing the beautiful family they are going to create.
