Pre-wedding session in Mallorca

This couple called Alba and Pedro is very special to me. It turns out that we met before the pandemic, confinement etc.. They contacted me one day and we met to get to know each other. I immediately liked them and they hired me for their wedding, a pre-wedding session in Mallorca and more things.

From the first moment I loved all their energy and the affection they have for each other. As I have said on other occasions I love to personalize each couple. I spend a lot of time, effort and love getting to know them and everything that surrounds them. That’s why we met for a few beers and got to know each other better, they even came home for dinner one day. They told us a lot of little things and we had a great time.

Very special couple

Unfortunately, as it has happened to many couples, they had to postpone their wedding because of the covid. It was a blow for them and for many others, that year I think it is better to forget it. We haven’t had the chance since then to do their pre-wedding session in Mallorca. Taking advantage of the Fair I proposed them to do it and also to have a good time together.

Great couple pictures

I’ve always wanted to take couple photos at the fair and I knew they were perfect for it. With all the color, the lights, the different attractions, it was going to be great. We immediately agreed on a date and we showed up. They wore a few changes of clothes to vary and not always wear the same thing. So this pre-wedding session in Mallorca would have several looks according to the different places

As soon as we saw them we were so happy, they love each other so much and it shows. They are one of our favorite couples for everything. Always have a smile and a kind phrase. Unfortunatly they have gone through a lot of problems in their lives and also professionally because of the covid. We gave each other kisses when we saw each other and then we got down to business, it was going to be a lot of fun.

Pre-wedding at the fair

We started down some aisles where the neon lights attracted a lot of people. The cotton candy with blue colors, the lady there spinning around. The children running from one side to the other crazy for all the music, the half-promised gifts from the stalls. It makes you want to be a child and live everything with the innocence and the illusion of a few years old.

Alba and Pedro started to feel at ease. It’s not easy in a pre-wedding session in Mallorca to start as if you know what to do. I know that the camera imposes and you need a little time and know how to make the couple feel comfortable. Alba was putting a lot of effort into it and little by little she also got Pedro into the game of doing things regardless of the camera. I was directing them from one side to the other, here or there, look at me or look for the panda bear.

We started taking photos a little light with the Ferris wheel in the background and the cotton candy. To raise the tone I made them ride on the whip, because of the name it wasn’t going to be very light. As soon as all the cars were full, it started to spin and when a curve arrived it gave a tremendous whip. Not even Fernando Alonso’s neck in a Formula 1 curve. It was nevertheless fun and made us want more, from there we moved on to the bumper cars. They were like little kids crashing against each other, it was great.

The mechanical bull in the pre-wedding

The funniest moment without a doubt was when they got on the mechanical bull ride. Well, I don’t even know how I could take a single picture. When each one of them got on the bulls at the beginning, it was non-stop laughter. They started to move with the music from one side to the other and Alba at zero seconds to the ground. Look at her dead laughing, Pedro dead laughing, me the photographer dead laughing. That’s why I don’t even know how I took one.

It was a spectacle to watch the two of them try not to fall off those bulls. Pedro got the hang of it and lasted longer than Alba. But the poor girl was more on the mattresses than on the bull. In the end the two of them rode together and Alba held on as best she could with Pedro behind her and held on a little longer. It was a lot of fun and a pre-wedding session in Mallorca to remember.

Little by little and with some dancing we finished taking pictures and having had a great time we said goodbye. We owe them a visit to a restaurant that they have set up together, I’m sure they will do great. They are great people and they deserve to do very well.
