Undoubtedly two of the best companies for luxury home rentals are Balearic Home Mallorca and Firstclass Holidays Munchen. They are specialists and have the best holiday homes and first class villas. They also offer specialised tailor-made services for an unforgettable holiday in Mallorca. A few days ago they asked me as a photographer of luxury homes in Mallorca to photograph several of their properties.

The first one was Villa Lucinda of which we have already posted photos of the final result in another post. Now it was time to take photos of Villa Son Veri in the beautiful village of Valldemossa. It is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular houses I have ever seen due to its privileged location. Only 15 minutes from Palma it has 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.

The village of Valldemossa for me is undoubtedly one of the jewels of the island. It is situated in the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A village situated in a valley with a medieval air and surrounded by mountains. Its stone houses stand out and within the village we can find the Royal Carthusian Monastery, the church of San Bartomeu and the Palace of King Sancho.

In addition, Valldemossa was chosen by Frederic Chopin and his then lover, the French writer George Sand, to live here for a period of time. Chopin composed several works in the village, which makes it even more special. He called it “the most beautiful place in the world”.

As a photographer of luxury homes in Mallorca, I had the honour of taking the photos of Villa Son Veri, situated next to Valldemossa.

That day the weather was very unsettled. You never know what March is going to be like and the wind was just another guest. After passing the two metal gates that protect it we saw the house that rises so spectacularly between the mountains.

Preparations for Villa Son Veri

As soon as we entered and unloaded everything we had brought with us, we greeted our colleagues who were going to help us that day. They had everything ready to be able to take photos in each place. As well there was a model who was there specifically for some photos of the house. There is no doubt that when you walk around all the spaces, the immensity of the Villa is very impressive.

We started on the outside of the house. There was a bit of sunshine and I wanted to make the most of it. The pool plays a major role and the views from there were breathtaking. Surrounded by mountains and overlooking the sea it is certainly a privileged place. I was able to take some photos with the model, for this I used again the pamela that she had worn and that gives a lot of play. As a photographer of luxury homes in Mallorca I like to use decorative elements when I work.

Despite the cold weather, the model jumped into the pool in a very professional way and even swam. The truth is that we all admired her. The covered terrace at the back is without a doubt one of the best places to relax. With several sofas and a dining table, it is ideal for entertaining friends, barbecues and having a good time.

From there we move on to the lounge area which has a fully restored wine press with high ceilings and a fireplace. A traditional area that has been modernised to rest, read or watch television. It opens onto an interior courtyard that fills all the rooms with light and connects all the spaces.

From the living room we move on to some of the main bedrooms which are located upstairs. It is undoubtedly a very exclusive place where privacy is at a maximum. You can disconnect from the outside world and find the peace that we often seek. But with all the comforts and services.

The bathroom is very spacious with a bathtub next to the window and a spacious shower. All the decoration and objects have been specially chosen and give a magnificent atmosphere to the whole villa. As a photographer of luxury villas in Mallorca I love Son Veri.

Finally we were in the area of the main façade where a table had been set up with its corresponding crockery. Without a doubt the wind was a bad guest as it did not allow us to put glasses on the table for fear that they would fall over. Anyway, you can appreciate how magnificent Villa Son Veri is with so many different spaces to enjoy. The last major renovation was in 2016 and without a doubt it has all the comforts to spend an unforgettable holiday in Mallorca.

Above all it is highly recommended for large families or several couples with children. The proximity to the village of Valldemossa and Palma makes it even more attractive. Furthermore, it has marble underfloor heating and air conditioning. As a photographer of luxury villas in Mallorca it has been a pleasure for me to have taken it’s pictures.
