Only Mallorca can have that magic for a Mexican and a German to decide to get married here. I have always said that this island is incredible and now has been witness to this fantastic celebration. We have lived this Mexican wedding at Son Maixella Mallorca with great intensity from the beginning.

They are Alan and Cindy, a couple that I loved from the first minute I met them. Both of them have an energy that is infectious and Alan is one of those grooms that you rarely see. He was involved with all the details and wanted their wedding to be a great party.

As you know I like to personalise each wedding as they are all unique. I dedicate a lot of time and love to every detail and I have everything perfectly organised. When the big day arrives, I want the couple to have a great time and spend as much time as possible with their loved ones. That’s why I study their tastes, their style, the colours and the place where the wedding is going to take place. I know perfectly the type of photos that each couple is going to have and everything flows when the big day arrives.

We had a video call with them where they told us how they wanted everything to go. Both were so nice and you could tell they love each other very much which I loved. Alan and Cindy also make a beautiful couple, they are both very sweet. They had decided to have their Mexican wedding at Son Maixella Mallorca. Until now I had never done a wedding there but I loved the idea. When they came to Mallorca to visit to finalize details we met them at the finca.

We finally met in person and kissed twice. They are even more handsome than on the screen and it was as if we had known each other all our lives. It’s wonderful to have such close and charming couples.

We started to see the Son Maixella finca and when you enter the front part stands out with that main door which is where they usually do the ceremonies. On this occasion they had decided to get married in church in the Santa Cruz parish church in Palma. So that part of the finca would be used for the aperitif.

Then there is the large stone clastra, which is typical Mallorcan and beautiful. This is where the banquet would be held and then on one side the party. One of the best things about this finca, which is not easy to find in Mallorca, is that there can be music until late in the open air. So everything was perfectly organised for this Mexican wedding at finca Son Maixella Mallorca.

And without further ado, the end of August arrived and the big day started with a beautiful blue sky. The weather in Mallorca is a bit crazy like everywhere else in the world but this day was not going to be spoiled by anything. We did Alan’s preparations a bit differently as his room was a bit small. On this occasion Guillermo from Samarina who I love to work with was in the video.

We talked and I decided to take advantage of the part of the hotel Melia Palma Marina by the pool where all the tourists were. I wanted to do something different and the contrast between the groom all dressed up, his friends and his mother in that atmosphere was great.

Then I went with Cindy and her bridesmaids, she was super excited. They were putting the finishing touches to her hair and make-up. They helped her put on her Pronovias gown and she looked beautiful, Alan was going to be so excited to see her.

In the church the guests were already beginning to arrive. There was a mixture of conversations in English and Spanish. Everyone was very elegant waiting for the groom and for the ceremony to begin. Alan arrived all smiles giving kisses and hugs to friends and family. It also coincided with his birthday so it was a double celebration on the same day.

They all entered and took their seats in the church, Alan made his entrance with his mother all dressed up and took his place at the altar. Then all the groomsmen and bridesmaids. The car Cindy was coming in was very special, a beautiful red 1966 Ford Mustang.

She got out and made her entrance with her mother on her arm in that mermaid style dress that looked amazing on her. She joined Alan who was happy and excited to see her and it was a beautiful moment.

After the ceremony they were thrown petals at the exit of the church, everyone congratulated them and I took the opportunity to go with them in the car. On the way we stopped in a field to take some photos of the couple with this amazing car. I have had several weddings with Mallorca weddings cars and their cars are always spectacular.

Alan and Cindy were enjoying being together on their big day after planning everything for so long. It was beautifully sunny and they both looked gorgeous. We were on our way again to continue with this Mexican wedding at Son Maixella Mallorca which promised a lot.

All the guests had already arrived and the couple made their entrance to the cocktail party. The caterer for this Mexican wedding at Son Maixella Mallorca was Marry Me Mallorca. I had already done weddings with them and they are great and all their staff are very friendly. There was also Cati from Fusion Deco Event who made sure that everything went smoothly and it did. For the music there was Gaby Perez Dj with whom we love to coincide and who always ensures that there is the perfect music, all the guests with the couple enjoyed the different stations that were prepared, the drinks and the good atmosphere.

For this wedding there was a big surprise that I particularly love. They had hired mariachis to play at a certain point during the cocktail party. They appeared along the way playing and singing, everyone happily stood around them and the groom danced with the bride. As a good Mexican he has dancing and rhythm in his blood. He linked one ranchera after another and Cindy accompanied him. It was amazing and super beautiful. There was so much happiness and partying that it was being the perfect wedding.

When it was time for the banquet, all the guests entered the great clastra. All the tables were beautifully decorated and illuminated with candles and garlands of lights overhead. Another great thing about this venue is the lighting, which is very important for good wedding photography.

The couple made their entrance with bursts of cold fire placed at the front door decorated by a curtain of lights. Everyone stood with their napkins in the air welcoming Alan and Cindy for dinner. During dinner they had hired a guitarist to provide entertainment. It was the perfect atmosphere to continue with this Mexican wedding at finca son Maixella Mallorca.

At one point during the dinner the bride and groom wanted Dj Gaby to play a song and go to each table like crazy dancing. They were joined by all the guests doing impossible positions, climbing on the tables and doing all sorts of things, it was a tremendous rush and they had a great time. Then it was time for the cake which was cut in front of the curtain of lights brought by two of their friends. It was a special and traditional moment where they gave each other cake.

Then Cindy got ready to throw the bouquet. It was very funny because there was a bit of a struggle as one caught it but another came and snatched it out of her hands. Then it was time for the garter moment where they sat Cindy on a chair and Alan set out to take the garter off her. He did it very well with a lot of artistry and succeeded to the applause of everyone as he threw it to his friends.

It was time for the first dance for which they had rehearsed a choreography that went very well. After a dance with the two mothers and then all the guests joined them and with Gaby dj and his brother DJing the party started, after an hour we said goodbye to the couple thanking them for everything and wishing them all the happiness in the world.
