LGTBI wedding in Mallorca
If there is an adjective to describe this wedding that I am presenting to you today, it is “impressive”. Without a doubt I have experienced as a photographer in Mallorca one of the best weddings of my life. I had very high expectations and I knew what was going to happen, but even so, it has surpassed everything. I had a great time from start to finish at this LGTBI wedding in Mallorca.
Their names are Stefano and Paulo, a couple of guys who have been together for many years. No doubt fate wanted them to have their own love story. Sometimes there are people in this life who have to find each other and that’s what happened with them. They are best friends with Pavel, one of my dearest friends.
When they decided to get married and organise everything Pavel told them about me as a wedding photographer in Mallorca. He knows about my work and specifically wanted me to do their wedding which they immediately agreed to. I was very happy when they told me and I met them in person.

Photographer in Mallorca
They are both very elegant inside and out. Besides, they make an incredibly handsome couple and are a sweetheart. They are both very creative with a great artistic level and together they design spectacular houses with their company Rock and Villa. They are currently working on a house called Casa Margarita, which has been featured in Elle Decor. Together they are the perfect couple.
The day we met to discuss the details of their wedding, they were quite clear about everything. Above all they wanted it to be a great party and an unforgettable celebration. From the beginning they knew they wanted a lot of music at every moment. And the truth is that they succeeded, this LGTBI wedding in Mallorca has been like a Festival of music and love with all the details taken care of.

They had chosen Finca Son Collell in Montuiri which I love and has space to do everything. I have had the opportunity to do a few weddings there before. It is both very elegant and with a rustic Mallorcan touch. It has the part of the front of the house facing the clastra and behind it the swimming pools with their statues. Then there is the garden area and the fountain in the Italian Tuscan style with the cypress trees. The sunset is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. The orangey red merging with the horizon is magical.
After many months of preparation we arrived at the 7th of October date of this LGBTI wedding in Mallorca. The wedding planning company was Wonderweddings and they had everything very well organised. In the morning we woke up to a radiant day with a sun that would last all day.

This October we are having very summery weather and the heat is still very hot. We arrived at Finca Son Collell in good time to see how everything was being set up. We greeted everyone and saw how beautiful the ceremony area was with the arch presiding over the altar.
They had chosen Exclusive Catering and it was beautiful. In the clastra area was where the show would be, you can’t call it anything else. They had set up a big stage with its light construction and loudspeakers for what was to follow, which was a surprise for everyone. The bride and groom were going to leave their guests open-mouthed.
Next to it they had created a dance floor as if it were a club in Ibiza, with a dj booth upstairs and a disco ball in the middle of the dance floor. ¡What a wedding awaited us!!!

We went to greet Stefano and Paulo eagerly. They were with friends and family in the room finalising details with the music playing. They had their suits in their cases waiting to be the stars of the show. For this big day they had trusted in the great tailor Manu Carvajal from Carvajales Mallorca. Undoubtedly a reference in tailor-made fashion in Mallorca. With the excellent taste that the two of them have, they had thought and designed their suits together with the subsequent wardrobe for the party.
They had two white dinner jackets with a black bow tie, each one with his own style. Stefano with a double breasted jacket and braces and Paolo with a waistcoat and a straight jacket, both amazing. For the shoes they had beautiful models from Carmina Shoemaker that matched perfectly with the suits.

After greeting each other and giving us two kisses I took them to the pool area to take some pictures. We had decided to take the couple photos before everything started so that they would have all the time to enjoy themselves. More than anything because then it was going to be non-stop. So I took advantage of the time and I took some photos very much according to them and their great style. First without the top and then already dressed with everything. It was spectacular, they knew perfectly how to do it and they trusted me. This is always very important and as a photographer in Mallorca I was enjoying it.

They went to rest and finish getting ready as there was not long to go before it all started. They were both going to enter the ceremony together which seemed very appropriate.
Meanwhile, all the guests began to arrive little by little. They came from all over the world as the couple have lived in different cities. Each one more elegant and sophisticated than the next, it was definitely a stylish LGBTI wedding in Mallorca.
The welcome drink was at the pools, with the statues as witnesses. The caterer for this wedding was Exclusive Catering and offered drinks to all the guests who greeted each other. Stefano’s parents were the hosts and greeted everyone on behalf of the couple. A harp and violin duo entertained from the side in a subtle way. Gradually then they moved on to take their seats for the ceremony.
The groomsmen and the nephews and nieces carrying the rings came in first. Then suddenly the music changed and there were Stefano and Paulo. They looked like they had just walked out of an Italian fashion show, they were stunning in their white dinner jackets. Paulo couldn’t help it and tears came to his eyes, they had waited so long for this moment. There were so many emotions mixed together and it was something unique for both of them.

All the guests stood up and applauded them, it was incredibly beautiful. They took their place standing in front of the altar with happy faces to finally be there.
The ceremony was very emotional with precious moments such as the exchange of rings and the I do. They left amidst petals thrown by everyone, both with a smile on their faces and a desire to live the day to the fullest and what is left of their lives.
We went to the area of the gardens and the fountain where they received congratulations from everyone one by one. There were hugs full of affection and happiness, many tears and love, lots of love.
No doubt everyone who was there had been chosen because of what they meant to the two of them and they wanted to share this great day with them.
During the cocktail, the guests were seated in the different areas of Son Collell. Catering trays with appetizers and drinks came and went. The harp and violin played, providing the perfect soundtrack to this moment.
The conversations flowed and slowly but surely the sun was setting. Undoubtedly this magical and romantic moment could not be missed at this LGTBI wedding in Mallorca. With such dreamy tones it enveloped the atmosphere and hypnotized us all. It was perfect giving a note of style even more to this wedding.

It was almost dusk and we moved on to the banquet area. Each table had the name of a city that had been important to the couple, Paris, Istanbul, Madrid, Barcelona… The two made their entrance greeting each other and thanked in speeches that everyone was there with them.
And just as the banquet began, the show began. They had hired the duo Alma Music and Love to sing and play during the dinner. The quality they have is spectacular with Alicia’s voice accompanied by Martin’s guitar. They played some slower songs but the more lively ones were enjoyed by everyone getting up and dancing.
Between courses everyone was on their feet singing together and having fun. It was brutal and I loved it as a photographer in Mallorca. The music lasted until dessert when they brought out the cake and the big surprise of this LGTBI wedding in Mallorca.
They had managed to get the great Croatian artist Lepra Brena to come to Mallorca to give a private concert for this great day. It was undoubtedly something very special and not at all common. She always gives concerts in large stadiums for thousands of people.
When she suddenly appeared from behind the stage, none of the people present could believe it. It was something very, very magical to be there live and to be privileged to experience it.

Paulo and Stefano cut the cake between songs all singing and dancing. They had changed their clothes for this part and looked like rock stars. Their faces of happiness were unique, they were enjoying it to the fullest and living it second by second with family and friends.
It was over two hours of live music with everyone singing along to the lyrics and dancing, a great performer. Lepra Brena said goodbye to everyone and the party continued as they had brought two resident DJs from a club in Mykonos called Mimi x Fy.
The dance floor with the disco ball prepared by Gsg Music and Events lit up above was filled and the guests were dancing with bright lights and lasers all over the place. After a while I said goodbye to the couple who were enjoying themselves and thanked them for trusting me. It had been one of the best weddings of my life as a photographer in Mallorca. Without a doubt I will never forget this LGTBI wedding in Mallorca and now they have some spectacular photos to remember it forever.
