Undoubtedly one of the things as a wedding photographer in Mallorca that I like the most is to do multicultural weddings. We are lucky that the island is a paradise and many couples who live abroad choose it for their big day. It has a great variety of spectacular locations to celebrate either with mountain views, sea views, etc. On this occasion I had the opportunity to do this elegant korean wedding at finca Comassema Mallorca.

They are Maria and Toni, they met several years ago in the sky precisely. He is a Majorcan aircraft commander for Emirates and she is Korean. She also works for Emirates and on one of the flights they met. Immediately they were attracted to each other and their love for each other led them to this beautiful wedding.

Always I prepare a lot for each wedding from minute one and I want to know all the details. Each wedding and each couple is unique. I always ask about their tastes, the style they have, how the decoration is going to be. The dresses or suits and also the family situation, etc…

A few months ago Maria and Toni came to Mallorca from Dubai, where they live. Because of all this, we met and I could finally get to know them in person. From the beginning you can see the love they have for each other. They make a beautiful couple and above all very elegant. When Maria showed me the spectacular dress she had chosen I was very happy.
I immediately started looking for ideas for this Korean wedding at Comassema Mallorca. They decided to have a pre-wedding which I thought was great so we could get to know each other better. During the meeting we finalized all the details with Vanesa to have everything well organized.

And without realizing it, a few months passed and June arrived. We did the pre-wedding in Palma in the beautiful Hotel Can Bordoy first and then in a beach area during sunset. All of us spent a few hours having fun and we got some great pictures that were used before the wedding for invitations.

As a magical place to celebrate this Korean wedding in Mallorca they chose one of the most beautiful fincas without a doubt, Comassema. I have been lucky enough to have many weddings there and it is definitely one of my favorites. It has different spaces and as the wedding progresses the guests discover each place.
It is remarkable the cloister where the ceremony is usually held. Comassema looks like you are in Tuscany with those stone walls and climbing ivy. Also, the magical safareig area where the aperitif is usually held. Finca Comassema is always very well kept and is the perfect choice for this Korean wedding in Mallorca.

The big day arrived and first we went to Toni’s family home for the preparations. We met the father who was on the porch trying not to get too hot and he was very charming. Then Toni came and we gave him two kisses and his friends and brother who were going to be the groomsmen.
Toni was a little nervous but mostly looking forward to it all. It had been many months of planning and organizing things. He was going to wear a spectacular black tuxedo that had been tailor made for him by an Indian tailor who lives in Dubai. A special detail was the lining of the jacket that had a world map design on the inside.

From there we went to the Hermitage Hotel in Orient near Finca Comassema which is where the bride was going to do the preparations. As I always prepare a lot of things before each wedding I had selected a room that they have to take pictures there. It is very elegant with a fireplace and very nice sofas, we emptied the room of furniture and chairs to have space and went to greet the bride.
They were finishing her hairstyle and she was already made up. For this Korean wedding at Comassema Mallorca there was a super team of professionals. We had the luxury of having Jose Ojeda and Sergio Quesada for makeup and hair. Maria was spectacular, if she is already beautiful naturally after passing through their hands she was amazing. Without a doubt they are great artists and it is always a pleasure to work with them.

All the bridesmaids were already prepared with their kimonos and we introduced ourselves. Maria was focused and very conscious that after so many months the big day had arrived. For this wedding I was going to have as partners in the video Alexandra and Dima with whom I worked many years ago in an Indian wedding in Mallorca. Greeted each other and started to shoot the details and the beautiful dress that was hanging on the bed.

We also took out the typical Korean dress that she was going to use to make the entrance to the banquet and that was very original. From there we went to the salon that I had already prepared for her and it was perfect.

Once I arrived at the finca I greeted Vanesa and Neus from Juliets, they had everything well prepared to receive the guests, there were also Paz and Pep from Quatroelements to make a video for Juliets. I love to meet them, we already did it at the wedding of Mhares sea club Mallorca and they are great professionals and people.
For this wedding the caterer was going to be Amida with whom I love to coincide, they are some of the best on the island. The bride arrived in a classic Styline car from 1952 and went to the room upstairs to wait for her moment.
Toni was already prepared greeting all the guests who arrived at the welcome drink. The excitement was rising by the minute at this Korean wedding in Comassema Mallorca.
Finca Comassema Mallorca
Finally everyone began to take their seats in the Finca Comassema cloister. A string duo was going to play during the ceremony at certain times. Toni made his entrance greeting everyone in anticipation. He looked so elegant in his tuxedo and stood at the altar to wait for Maria. Groomsmen with bridesmaids made their entrance and stood on either side of the altar. We were all looking forward to seeing Maria make her entrance.
She finally stepped out of her mothers arm and walked down the famous stairs. Maria looked like something out of a Vogue editorial. Toni looked at her even more in love, both with a big smile on his face. They happily joined together and the ceremony began.
International wedding in Mallorca
The officiant told the story of how they met in Spanish and English. There were several readings by friends and between them vows were read which were very moving. They put on their rings, said “I do” and left with a shower of petals. It was all very magical with a very romantic setting and atmosphere.

The Juliets team ushered everyone into the cocktail area which was already set up with food stations. I took the bride and groom to have some couple pictures taken along with the video. On the way back they received congratulations from all their friends and family. While the string duo that also played at the ceremony was playing. The caterer Amida was passing their trays full of delicious appetizers with great success.
At the end of the ceremony everyone slowly moved to the area above the lawn where the banquet tables were located. The lighting and flowers for this wedding were in charge of Bombillas y Flores who as always had done an incredible job. Everything was beautiful and there were many rows of fairy lights hanging above the tables.

The bride made the entrance dressed in the typical Korean costume and dancing with Toni the famous Gangnam Style. All the guests were on their feet twirling napkins in the air, it was amazing. One of the best banquet entrances I have ever had. They happily sat down to dine and enjoy. There were several very touching speeches during the dinner and they gave some details to their guests.

The cake moment was amazing. It is one of the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen. Made by La Oca Margarita, without a doubt it is an art, it was beautiful. They both stood behind to cut it and enjoy it. Afterwards they toasted with cava to their happiness.
Once the banquet was over, they prepared for the first dance. Maria had changed for it wearing a shorter dress that fit her perfectly. The choreography was very well done and everyone joined in. Glen’s band played live which I always love at weddings, live music is great.
At one point Toni’s father got on the microphone and a friend got on the piano. We were all amazed at his great voice and how well he played the piano. They played Frank Sinatra’s My way to great applause from everyone.
The party started again with Glen singing and Maria and Toni dancing among their guests. From there they were going to move to the disco area where the great dj Luis Fergon was going to play and they were going to have a great time.
We took the opportunity to say goodbye and thank them. It had been an amazing Korean wedding at finca Comassema Mallorca. As a wedding photographer in Mallorca it has been one of the most magical weddings I have had and I thank them for trusting me and my creativity. We have been a great team with Juliets who are amazing and I hope to do many more weddings together. I wish the couple a lifetime of happiness and see them very soon maybe in Dubai.
